The aim of the project is to clarify the function of the non-genomic estrogen action in pathogenesis of endometriosis. In particular our goal is:
- To identify signal transduction pathways regulated by fast estrogen receptors-mediated signals
- To specify estrogen receptors subtypes (classical and non-classical) involved in this regulations.
- To provide the molecular mechanisms involved in the non-genomic estrogen action.
